Premier Source Credit Union seeks to become the primary financial institution of its member-owners providing personal financial products and services and assisting them in managing their financial affairs as efficiently and effectively as possible.
All members of credit unions are owners of the credit union. The employees, management, and board are also members of the credit union. Therefore we … the employees, management, and board … have a deeper commitment to the financial needs of our public-members of the credit union. We pledge to each of our public-members to act as professional financial stewards in assisting them in managing their financial affairs as effectively and efficiently as possible. Premier Source Credit Union is a non-profit financial institution owned and managed by our members. At Premier Source, every depositor is an owner and shareholder and has a voice in shaping our direction.
Premier Source Credit Union (formerly Kelko Credit Union) was founded in 1941 by the employees of Kellogg Envelope Company. They were searching for an organization that could meet their financial needs, allow them to support one another, and have a voice in management.
In 2000, Kelko merged with Twin Meadows Federal Credit Union. In 2001 they merged with Spalding Employees Credit Union and merged with Embeco Credit Union (Hasbro Games) in October of 2006. Combining the resources of these credit unions has allowed us to continue providing personal attention, while expanding our products and services and serving our members at two locations.
