What does this mean for our members? More checks will be considered local checks and will receive the local check hold of 2 business days instead of the non-local hold of 5 business days.
Our Funds Availability Policy is being amended to reflect a change in local check policies. This is required by Federal Regulation. The effect of this amendment is that in some instances checks presented for deposit may be available to you more quickly than would have occurred previously; in no instance, will the change result in availability being delayed longer. You can request our detailed Funds Availability Policy at our branch.
